Ah, finally, my very first blog! Welcome to my "clean" little corner of the internet where I plan to keep you up to date with business goings-on, a few funnies from my life, things that catch my attention and all things InkSolv30, LLC related.
What's weighing heavy on me today is rain. Rain is EVERYWHERE here in Northeast Nebraska and that brings MUD! It's a blessing and a curse all at once. The farmers are finishing up in the fields and we need the rain to help with the crops, that's for sure. On the other hand, when I went to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo with my son's class for the field trip, you could definitely tell which cars were not from the city! I'm pretty sure I left forty pounds of Dakota County dirt and gravel in the parking lot as the rain washed my car that day.
Clearly, we in NE Nebraska are not the ONLY ones in this great nation that are receiving their fair share, and then some, of the glorious rain. Storms, flooding, and more mud in places you don't usually expect it are severely affecting our friends to the South in Texas. While I'm thankful for the rain and all the good it does, I'm also concerned about the people missing, homes destroyed and water facilities violated.
After searching online, I found a few options at http://www.statesman.com/news/news/local/how-to-help-central-texas-flood-victims/nmNCY/ where donations can be made if you’d like.
That’s all for now folks, I’m headed out to package soap and make memories in the mud with my boy.
Keep it clean, keep it classy!
